This workshop is an initiation in Bharata Natyam, a classical Indian dance. Participants will learn a simple choreography made up of a few basic movements. They will also learn to use hand positions, called hastas, and to express them in a slokam, a poem sung to music. Let yourself be carried away into a world of divine beauty!

Sattvika Danse invites you to dance to the music of the Bollywood film Aaja Nachle, a music that is rhythmic, elevating and joyful. Inspired by the Indian dance Bharata Natyam, the hand gestures and movements taught in this class stimulate the body to move in a coordinated way carried by the rhythm of the music. A real pleasure!
